Civil Site Design - Civil 3D Outputs (Metric)

Learn how to export Civil Site Design models to Civil 3D

Welcome to the Civil Site Design - Civil 3D Output Course.

This video based course is designed to teach you how to exchange data between Civil Site Design and Civil 3D - create surfaces, alignments, profiles, profile views, assemblies and corridors all from your Civil Site Design models.

The course has drawing and data sets to help you journey all the way through the course.

This is the Metric version of the course. There is also an Imperial (USA) version available.

Users of the supplied data should be aware of the following version conditions:

  • Data is created for Civil 3D version 2020 (Metric) or later
  • Civil Site Design installed for Australia (Metric) version 21.00 or later
  • Subassembly Composer 2018 or later

Note: Any imperial drawing containing Civil 3D alignments and surfaces and with a Civil Site Design model created (eg: TotalModel) could be used to follow through the processes covered in this course.

When I'm not delivering training, assisting with development and working with customers, I love to play indoor beach volleyball, play the drums and go skiing in New Zealand, a real sea change from having grown up in Karratha in W.A’s north west.
